The Masport Contractor Professional lawn mower is powered by a Briggs and Stratton 850EX ReadyStart engine. ReadyStart engines require no choke or priming so are always ready to go. The 850EX petrol engine produces 190cc of power and 11.5 Nm of torque. The higher the torque rating the easier and quicker it is to mow thicker and longer grass. Worldwide Briggs & Stratton is the most widely used engine type on lawn mowers & garden tractors.
